Following Target While Shooting

I’ve been playing on Fortnite Mobile for iOS for about a year now. Only one other time have I had this problem, but somehow was able to fix it, but now I’m having it again and have NO idea what to do to fix it. When the last update came out, I ended up having to delete the app and redownload it, which in turn caused me to have to log back in. Upon logging back in, my HUD layout had changed (which was fine, I could do that) but now when I’m playing and actively using a weapon or my pick axe, I can’t follow my target. Where as if I’m scoped on someone or waiting to shoot them, I’m still able to look around but as soon as I start firing, if my target (opponent) jumps up then I have to stop shooting, look up and then continue shooting rather than just being able to follow him the whole time. How do I fix this?

  1. Hello Shelby. Sorry, very difficult to understand what problem you are having. It would be awesome if you had a video. But as I understand maybe you have to change your HUD layout?

    • So, I’ve been trying to post a video but for some reason it won’t let me. 🙁 I’m so frustrated that I deleted the game because I can’t play with it being like this and I can’t explain it well enough for someone else to understand.

  2. Try to reinstall it if you believe it’s a fortnite bug. Usually the fresh copy of fortnite for iOS can fix the problem.

  3. I think it something to do with the resolution of the iphone. Try to change it in Settings -> Display
