Different online gaming platforms have a different procedure of adding and playing with friends online. However; I want to add that fortnite has made the procedure of adding a friend very easy.
First, you need to launch fortnite and create a lobby. Now click on the “friends icon”. This icon looks like a human if you are playing on a mobile or PC. On Xbox, you need to press the view button at this stage. For PC or mobile phone users, click on Add friends button. If you are playing on Xbox, press x button.
Now you need to enter the display name and email of your friend. Xbox users will need to press the A button to access this section. After entering the details, you will see a friend request sent a message.
When your friend accepts the request, he/she will be added to your list.
