Every game which gains popularity in the market gets unpopular with time because a new game replaces the older one. However; an interesting thing about fortnite is that the developer has the fate of the game in their hands.
A developer can add new features at any time to maintain user interest. So, with that being said, many modern games are already in the market, which means that fortnite will die, but it will take some time.
